I set myself a challenge to make a durable frosted plastic material. After some initial tests, I decided that it should be made within the context of a usable product. This is where I decided that it could be used as a small scrap box for nuts and bolts.
I wanted the render to feel more grounded in reality so I made a cutting board with a scratched up surface for the box to rest on.
